USA Cascade Pass
Perhaps one of the most scenic hikes in Washington State, Cascade Pass has it all: snow, valley, mountain peaks and an immense skyline. Come in spring for the snow and fall/autumn for the red foliage. It makes an amazing mountain composition and the hike up has several more.
Photography Tips
Bring a polarizing filter. Come early to capture the color and before the sun comes over the mountains to the left/north.
Travel Information
Drive Highway 20 to Marblemount and drive along the Cascade River road to the very end and park. It is a three hour drive from Seattle so plan accordingly. It is a very popular hike so try to come mid-week. The hike is four miles to the top and 2000 feet. Continue on to the north for the Sahale Arm if you want more photo ops.
