Travel Information
Coming from Hilo - About 7 miles/11km north of Hilo, turn right at the large blue highway sign that says “Scenic Route” on the right side of the road. About 2 miles down on the left is the Visitor Center and parking lot. Ample parking, restrooms.
Coming from Kona
Travel south on Route 19 along the Hamakua Coast until you pass the 8 mile marker. Look for the blinking yellow light with a sign that says “Old Mamalahoa Hwy” on the right side of the road. Make the next left onto the Scenic Route. About 1.5 miles on the right is our Visitor Center and parking lot.
Coming from Kona
