Found these beautiful leaves from a cliff branch while walking along the Rogue River George falls trail.

Use a telephoto. Go in the evening when the leave are lit by the sunlight while the river below is in the shadows.

By car. Ample parking spaces at the parking lot. Will need a US Parks or an Oregon Parks pass. It is in the town of Prospect, about 25 miles from Crater Lake.
