An iconic location to capture the Atlanta Skyline. This spot has been done before but is the best I could find to capture the skyline.

Photography Tips

A long exposure during the blue hour is your best bet and add some light trails from traffic on the highway as an added bonus. A tripod and shutter release are necessary essentials.

Travel Information

Grab a hot dog from The Varsity and then walk just south over to the North Avenue bridge. Along the south walkway you will find a hole in the fence that is perfect to shoot from. The surrounding areas can appear to be a bit sketchy so keep you eyes and ears open while shooting. Although I had no trouble and most of the foot traffic was from college students that attend Georgia Tech which is just west of this location.
