The Bay Bridge in San Fransisco is often overlooked because right across the bay sits the famous Golden Gate Bridge. However the Bay Bridge can be very beautiful in its own right.

Photography Tips

As always when shooting in low light, bring a tripod and shutter release. Long exposures will create a soft look on the bay and illuminate the bridge lights. The reflections in the water will add bursts of color to your composition.

Travel Information

Right next to pier 9 is a parking lot that has a great vantage point to capture the Bay Bridge. If you are lucky the San Fransisco Belle will be in port to add some color.
