You have a great view of the HOLLYWOOD sign from the GRIFFITH OBSERVATORY balcony.

Photography Tips

You are allowed to bring a tripod. Just be careful because there are lots of people and the balcony is quite narrow.

Visited in September 2023, full-size tripods are not allowed. Told firmly on three occasions to put the tripod away, even in corners where there were very few people about. Ending up using a tabletop tripod perched on a concrete wall.
