Parking at the visitor center ($40). Nothin gi free for parking, and it's typically crowded.
Actually parking at the visitor center is free. Parking along the street in Springdale, Utah (the gateway town south of Zion) ranges from $12 to $20 dollars (US) with the exception of $40 at a private parking lot just south of the south entrance to Zion. These prices are for a full day parking. Hourly rates are available but not really practical.
