Be there 2-3 hours before sunset to take stake out a spot. Set up tripod if you can. You might have to bracket the shots to get the sun and the street scene. If you have already taken the picture of the Manhattanhenge, go there a second time to do photograph people on the streets taking in the sight, it's equally or even more interesting.
