USA Salt Lake City Public Library
Lit by a giant skylight, this is the Urban Room of the City Library located between the crescent shaped external wall and the library floors on the right. It was designed by internationally acclaimed architect Moshe Safie. The building has interesting building forms both inside and outside.
Photography Tips
Get permission to photograph first. This was not a problem when I visited and helps avoid hassles. I forget if tripods were permitted but there is plenty of light so hand held is the way to go. This picture: 1/40, f8, ISO 100, 16mm equivalent f.l. HDR technique may help with the extreme range of light in this space.
Travel Information
There is a light rail stop at the library. I travelled there by car and parking was easy.
