Photography Tips

This is a very popular spot, so early mornings are preferred. Additionally, from late spring through summer, the water level may be too low, making the river feature less appealing for photography.

Travel Information

Enter Yosemite Valley and head east along Southside Drive. Just past the Four Mile Trailhead on the south side, look for the Swinging Bridge Picnic Area. If it’s early in the morning, there should be parking available. The bridge is just a short walk north of the picnic area.
