A wonderful site to capture fall colors that is a short walk from the parking lot and that you should have to yourself especially in the early morning.

Photography Tips

Capture that morning golden hour, slow down your shutter speed for the moving water and use a tripod. The best fall colors in this region are usually the third week of October.

Travel Information

Travel west from Leavenworth on Highway 2 for about two miles and before the bridge turn left into a small carpark. You can capture two shots here: the bridge itself and this site only about 200 yards across the river along the river trail.
