USA Kubota Japanese Garden, Seattle
This is an amazing spot in Seattle featuring a Japanese garden layout that is public and open without fee. It features great color: the rhododendrons in spring and the maples in fall, to photograph.
Photography Tips
Stay in the lower garden, which is older, and features the ponds, bridges, and more mature trees. Arrive early to beat the crowd and capture the rising sun to give backlighting to the maples.
