USA Manhattan Bridge Lookout
See the skyline of lower manhattan and the financial district below the span of the Manhattan bridge.
Photography Tips
When photographing the Manhattan Bridge from the lookout, consider shooting from the Brooklyn Bridge Park for a great perspective of the bridge with the Manhattan skyline in the background. Early morning or late afternoon provides soft, golden light and fewer crowds, allowing for cleaner shots. Use a wide-angle lens to capture the full scale of the bridge, and experiment with long exposure shots to capture the movement of traffic and pedestrians. For a unique angle, try shooting from beneath the bridge or from the DUMBO area to get the iconic view of the bridge framed by buildings.
Travel Information
To reach the Manhattan Bridge Lookout, head to Brooklyn Bridge Park in the DUMBO area. You can take the subway to the York Street station (F train) or the High Street-Brooklyn Bridge station (A or C trains). From either station, it’s just a short walk to the park. If you're coming from Manhattan, you can also take the Brooklyn Bridge or the ferry to DUMBO and walk to the park. The lookout is easily accessible and offers great views of the bridge and the skyline.
