This spot is close to the road, and on the upper trail. You will need to walk no more than 50 yards from main Highway 1. Maybe plan for a day here, you can spend a nice time at a secluded beach.

Photography Tips

Stay on the top trail if you want the photo. I took this on a cloudy day, with the anticipation of shooting a long exposure. It was all perfect. You can park on Highway 1, and literally walk less than 50 yards to this spot.

Travel Information

Will need to take highway 1 north from Santa Cruz, or Monterrey. Or Highway 1 South from San Francisco. You will need to go almost to Santa Cruz to get to this spot, but there are numerous spots along the way, for other great shots.
