USA Muir Woods National Monument

Redwood forrest just a short drive from the greater San Francisco area.

Wide lens is ideal but I think a telephoto lens could also be useful depending upon what you find.

Early hours are recommended.

Don't forget to look up for interesting compositions.

Easy drive but advance reservations are required. Buy tickets prior to getting there as there is no cell phone coverage within several several miles. Plenty of parking once there and not far from the many trails. The national park pass will get into the monument for free. There is a restaurant inside but I would suggest eating prior to arrival to save money and get better food.
