The DC Metro stations underground all have the same look, but some have the passenger platform in the middle between the tracks, and others have the tracks in the middle. Better shots are with the platform in the middle. The escalators going down to the platform level and longer escalators up to the street level are also photogenic.

Photography Tips

Set camera on small tripod at top of escalator pointing toward tracks, and wait until you see a train coming, then do a long exposure like this one to show train movement.
