USA Kanarra Creek Trail

The Kanarra Creek Trail is located in the Town of Kanarraville. It is close to Cedar City in Utah.
It is a nice Trail, not very hard to walk. But most of the time you have to walk through a stream. So there is no chance to get there by dry feet. But the water is not deep, normally around your ankles. Check the Weather forecast, Flash floods can be very dangerous in this part of the USA. To get to the spot with the ladder and the waterfall takes around 45min-1hour. depending on your fitness.

Bring a tripod and patience. I didn`t see a lot of foreign tourists but there are a lot of locals and school classes. Because the part of the slot canyon is very small it is hard to get shots without other people in the frame. And even in summer, the water of the stream is ice cold. But your patience will be sold out as you can see in the pictures. A tripod is highly recommended to handle longer exposures to get nice colors on the rocks. Ultra wide-angle lenses should be used as well.

At the start of the trail, there are 2 parking lots. Parking is 10$, as there is no entrance fee, it's ok for me to support the locals. You can park free of charge at the Town hall / Church but then you have to walk around extra 3km.
