Oxbow bend is one of the most photographed spots in the world. This perspective is high above it on Losier Hill.

Photography Tips

Shoot sunrise from water level, then climb the hill after the alpenglow is over. The hill could also be good at sunrise if you like hiking and route finding in the dark.

Travel Information

About 40 miles north of the Town of Jackson Wyoming, in the north end of Grand Teton National Park.

I have been to Grand Tetons national park in the beginning of 1980. But as too long ago, I really do not remember . . . and all my pictures from that time has been left at my first wife. So an new visit is recommended.

I can see that you also have a picture from old town in Innsbruck in your pictures. This is my hometown . . . So you have been here as well.

The Dolomites twice with and all to short swing through Innsburck (unplanned) glad I stopped. You also live in an amazing place. Yes you should come back to Grand Teton but I believe the mountains of your European alps could keep me busy for a lifetime.
