USA Pfeiffer Beach Sea Cave
The Pfeiffer beach sea cave in mid-December turns orange at sunset, many photographers know of this. Get here early as there is extremely limited parking. It isn't a bad place to spend an extended amount of time. After all, it is a beach :)
Photography Tips
You will be in the shade of the sea stack which hosts the sea cave. You will need a tripod. There are plenty of other things to shoot but there will be a lineup in the early evening so stake out your spot in a timely fashion.
Travel Information
Fly into San Francisco, head south to Carmel, and from there head south to the town of Big Sur. Watch for the Pheiffer Beach sign. You can also come up through the south from San Luis Obispo and drive the whole Big Sur Coast, you will be happy you did.
