USA Spring Creek, Dubois Wyoming
Dubois is a beautiful little western town on the east side of the between the Absaroka Mountains and the Wind River Range of Western Wyoming. It is a landscape borrowed from the Badlands of South Dakota and laid at the foot of the Rocky Mountains. Great juxtapositions can be found. It is also home of Whisky Mountain bighorn sheep reserve.
Photography Tips
Explore the Wind River south of town there are several vantage points where you can incorporate the Wind River, the Absaroka Mountains and these great badlands the river runs through.
When the Grand Tetons 50 miles away are socked in and hidden in the clouds, I bring my photo tours to Dubois as a plan B, and give the Tetons a chance to clear.
