USA Monument Mountain and Devil's Pulpit
Top of a small mountain in the Berkshires of Western Massachusetts with a great view of the fall foliage. Just a few minutes south of Stockbridge where Norman Rockwell's museum is. The 1st shot is of my son looking west from the top of the mountain, 5 minutes up the trail from the marking with nice 360-degree views. The 2nd shot is a view south looking over Devil's pulpit and that's what I've marked on the map.
Photography Tips
You have views both to the east and west, although the latter is better, so either golden hour works well.
Travel Information
Parking at the base of the Mountain. There are 2 routes to the top. The north side is steeper and you need to be in decent shape to go this route. It's a climb but it's well-groomed. The south side is gentler and longer. Don't miss out on going to the Devil's Pulpit overlook. It's a tiny diversion from the main trail on the south side of the peak and is definitely worth it.
