USA Roof of the Museum of Pop Culture, Seattle
The Museum of Pop Culture in Seattle is a great place for abstract photography. The roof got designed by the famous architect Frank Gehry, who also built the Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles and the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao.
Photography Tips
Just try different angles and don't think about shooting exactly horizontally or vertically. It's better to try different angles and focal distances until you got the shot you wanted.
In post-processing, I liked to add some glow to the image, because the roof was also pretty "shiny" during the day and I liked this effect.

Travel Information
The best way to get here is by using the Monorail. The station is just nearby and the museum is just beside the Space Needle, which is pretty easy to find.
