USA Marymere Falls from Upper View
The Marymere Falls in the Olympic National Park is quite a nice stop if you are visiting the area anyway. The walk up there is pretty nice when you walk through the rainforest towards the waterfall.
This one is the upper view, which is just 2 minutes up from the lower view to the waterfall.

Photography Tips
A tripod is highly recommended to get a sharp photo, because it's sometimes pretty dark in the woods, even during the day. You will benefit from using it even without planing to use ND filters, which can add a nice effect, but they won't change the image in a significant way, since the waterfall hasn't so much water.
Travel Information
You can leave your car near Lake Crescent Pier when you enter Lake Crescent Road. From there, the really nice trail will take you around 15 minutes to the Marymere Falls.
Sturdy shoes are recommended, but not a must as long as you stay on the left path up there, which has stairs. The other one hasn't and is therefor quite slippery with the wrong shoes.
The waterfall is around 2-3 hours away from Seattle.
