Ron Planche is Marketing and Communication specialist with a university education in History, Art History and Photography.
He has worked as a professional photojournalist; a national sales manager specializing in computer aided drafting and design; an executive vice-president of a computer company: an elected Municipal and Regional councilor: an executive assistant the provincial member of parliament in Ontario and a candidate for the federal riding of Niagara Falls in the 2015 Canadian Federal Election
As an award-winning photojournalist Ron covered local, provincial, and federal news and politics as well as Royal Visits. His Photographs have appeared on the front pages of Canada’s major newspapers and in Time magazine (Cdn. Ed.)
Upon retirement, once digital photography became viable as a professional medium, Ron rekindled his interest in photography. He specializes in Large Landscape Photography where he documents the impact of man on the environment.

Ron is a member of the Niagara Association of Photographic Art, where he has reached Diamond Star status in 3 Categories, obtained Photo of the Year in both colour and monochrome categories and is its current Print Chair. He has been recently certified by the Niagara Frontier Regional Camera Club as a Judge and Mentor. He is also a CAPA judge in training.
