Argentina Pingüinera cabo dos bahias
The beaches of Eastern Patagonia are not well known. The most interesting are the points where you can find wildlife. I show you a typical and accessible place where to find the Magellanic penguins.
Here at Cabo Dos Bahias is the second largest mainland colony of Magellan penguins with about 30,000 of the birds.
Among the birds there are guanacos.
This area is much less frequented by tourists than the largest area.

Photography Tips
Telezoom can be useful. Penguins move slowly. No need for high speeds or high ISO.
Travel Information
Following route 3 take a local route 30 to Camarones and then follow the marks to the penguin reserve.
The road from Camarones is a relatively good maintained gravel road.
A 400-metre-long footbridge made of sheet metal runs along the edge of the colony and partly through the it.
