Argentina El Cóndor Rock Parakeets
The world's largest colony of rock parakeets can be found here in the up to 40-metre-high cliff face by the sea. Over a length of twelve kilometres, the birds have dug about 35,000 nesting and living cavities up to three metres deep into the sandstone. The colourful parakeets can grow up to 40 cm.
