Argentina Sea of Blossoms beyond Camarones
The small town of Camarones lies idyllically in a bay. Beyond the village, above the coast, there is a sea of blossoms in summer. The Atlantic has not only piled up a beach of pebbles here, they reach several hundred metres deep into the land. The flowers and tufts of grass are almost the only vegetation here.
A promontory juts out into the sea as a rocky plateau and is completely washed over at high tide.
Algae washed up at the shore are "harvested".
