Argentina Bermejo Pass, Argentinian side
On the Argentinian side, Ruta 7 runs continuously uphill without serpentines to Paso Bermejo with the border to Chile. However, the actual pass at 3900 m has been closed for many years. Instead of the probably quite adventurous track, a tunnel now leads through the mountain, at 3200 m. Thus this is a relatively low Andean pass.
