Argentina Rear view of the ruins of San Ignacio Mini
San Ignacio Míní is the name of one of the 30 or so missionary stations established by the Jesuit order during the Spanish colonial period. The aim was to convert the Guaraní people to the Christian faith. It was built from red stone and the remains are simply breathtakingly beautiful. They were decorated with many details and there is a lot to discover.
