Argentina Mystical forest near Laguna Natacion, El Bolson

If you walk around Laguna Natacion, you will pass through a mystical forest with beautiful old trees. I've never seen trees like these before.

I visited this place on a multi-day trekking tour near El Bolson. The landscapes are beautiful and there are great hiking trails. You can spend the night in the refuges.
Day 1 Refugio Hielo Azul, day 2 Refugio Natacion, day 3 Refugio Cajon del Azul, day 4 Refugio Tronconado. Especially in the area around Cayon Azul you will have many opportunities to stay overnight in refugios or to camp. There are buses to the starting points of the hikes and you can get detailed information at the tourist information office in El Bolson.

There are hiking trails around the entire Laguna Natacion and you can walk around the lake. Some of the paths run directly along the shore, others are a little further away. The walk around the lake is worthwhile as there are many great photo spots.
