Next to the two Puente Viejo bridge ruins at the Arroyo Quequén Salado is the ruin of the former "Hidroelectrica del Sud".
The power station was certainly originally powered by the dammed water of the river. Now rusty, partially dismantled old diesel engines with coupled generators stand in the abandoned machine hall. This was probably the second or third generation of power plants.
