It's this time of the year again when Photokina in Cologne takes place, which is the worlds biggest photography exhibition. If this alone isn't a good reason to come by, we organized a very special meetup at 28. September 2018 together with Skylum, the company behind such great softwares for photographers like Luminar or Aurora HDR and David Grigo, who is one of Cologne's best photographers and teachers for photography.
To do something very special with you guys, we booked the entire platform of the Triangle Tower in Cologne just for you, to offer you the best view over Cologne during sunset and blue hour. The space is limited to 30 participants, so if you know that you will be there or nearby at this specific Friday, you can book a spot to get up there with us by writing an email to [email protected] - first come, first served!
The event is free and the drinks are on us. We will meet around 6:30pm (18:30) in front of the entrance of the observation deck (exact geo position), which is reachable by foot from Photokina and get up there together at 7pm (19:00). You will have the chance to take some nice photos of the skyline, but also meet the team behind Locationscout and Skylum. We will probably also have a first version of the new Locationscout iOS and Android App with us, so you would be the first one to see it.
Besides that you will get the chance to talk to Dima Sytnik. He is the CTO of Skylum and such a nice guy, who is as crazy passionate about photography as we are. His engineering team will also be at the event and we are looking forward for some great talks about post-processing images.
Additionally we talked to our friends at Manfrotto and they are sending us the newest tripods right from their factory in Italy to try them at this evening. With this we also want to make sure that everybody is able to get a nice and un-shaky shot of the skyline if you don't want to carry your tripod with you while visiting the Photokina.
