The best place to watch the sunset over the city of Perth is Kings Park. The Flame of Remembrance Kings Park. The flame symbolizes an eternal soul for those who had served and died in the wars fought by Australians. In the background is the Western Australian State War Memorial Cenotaph. Opened in 1929 to commemorate the fallen soldiers of WWI. The site of the annual WA ANZAC day dawn service
