The Blackwood River forms the Hardy Inlet Estuary. Its banks are lined for the most part by dense jungle. From Molloy Caravan Park, opposite Molloy Island, you have uninterrupted views across the water to the thicket of the forest. In addition to seagulls, pelicans in particular cavort here.
