Take the cable car to the top of the mountain. The panoramic scenery is taking your breath as soon as you exit the cable car station. If you have luck and the weather is clear you will have stunning 360° panoramic view.

If you are visiting the nearby Hallstatt you can easily reach it via the designated bus from the bus station in the center. It will take you to the bottom station of the cable car.
