Photography Tips

I came here for sunrise and hoped for a cloud ocean. Some clouds were visible over the lake, but not the amount I was hoping for. It might be better in autumn. But summer mornings an also really cool up here.

Travel Information

You have multiple options to get here. You can hike up, which takes about one hour. During operation hours (no sunrise), you can take the Areitbahn 1 right to the area. You could also park at the Schmittenhögebahn and hike towards the lake.
