Canada Science World, Vancouver
This spot offers a great view along False Creek and to Science World. It is perfect for pictures with water and cityscape in combination. There are even more good compositions but I hadn't enough time to capture them all.
Photography Tips
It is a good sunset location. If you want to avoid people in your picture go there after 8 pm. Then all the rowing tourists are gone.
The trick is to find the right exposure time to capture the changing colours of the stadium on the left; If the exposure is too long the colours turn to white (red + green + blue combined over time = white). It is therefore probably difficult to "freeze" the water and keep the rotating colours, meaning that you will have to make a decision... Colours or freeze? Up to you to decide!

Travel Information
I went there by SkyTrain: Take the Canada Line and exit the train at Olympic Village. Walk to the north until you reach False Creek. Turn right and walk along the seawall to the Science center.
