South of Whitehorse, the Yukon river has to get throuh a narrow canyon. A suspension bridge crosses the canyon.

Photography Tips

From this distance a tele lens is helpful. However, there are further views, for example across Schwatka Lake to the north. The lake is a float plane base and starting and landing float planes pass the view point in some distance in the east.

Travel Information

In a sharp bend of the Miles Canyon Road there is a large parking area and the view point.
