Canada Fort Point, Liverpool

Everyone knows Liverpool, the city of the Beatles in eastern England. But in Canada, there is virtually every British place name, and every name of a British region, e.g. London, Windsor, Sussex. And Liverpool is of all things in New Scotland (Latin: Nova Scotia), on the south coast. They even have a Mersey River here (instead of River Mersey). At its mouth into the Atlantic Ocean is the city's top tourist attraction, Fort Point. Where once cannons protected the town, a lighthouse was built in 1855.
