At Marathon Lake Superior has a beach of extra large, rounded pebbles: Pebble Beach. As is the case with virtually any Canadian waters, much driftwood is washed ashore. The colorful pebbles shine wet from the surf. The combination of pebbles and old wood gives imaginative pictures.
