Canada Panorama Ridge, Initial Viewpoint

The Panorama Ridge offers one of the finest views in western Canada, overlooking the super blue majestic Garibaldi lake and its surrounding mountains.

Take your super wide angle lens with you since this place is massive. Carry a tripod if you don't have a lens with a wide open aperture. Otherwise, you're good to go for the blue hour.

In order to reach this spot, you need to hike a long way from the parking lot. It's around a 17km hike with 1.700m elevation gain (one way). You better want to make sure to sleep at the nearby campgrounds (if you get a campground reservation).

Always carry bear spray and be aware that bears could always be around you. Make sure to familiarize yourself with proper bear encounter behavior.
