Chile King Penguins Natural Reserve north of Cameron
Parque Pingüino Rey is the only colony of king penguins in South America, all the others are on distant islands around Antarctica.
Of the 18 penguin species, the king penguins are the second largest. Around 150 of the birds are breeding here.
To ensure that they are undisturbed, large observation shelters have been erected at a reasonable distance from which you can follow what is happening in the colony.
