Chile Rio Petrohué Rapids
East of Chile's second largest lake, Lago Llanquihue, lies one of the country's largest national parks, Parque Nacional Vicente Pérez Rosales. Lake All Saints (Lago Todos Los Santos) is embedded in it. It drains over the picturesque Rio Petrohué. Along the road to the lake, several viewpoints provide access to the white-water river. At one of these miradors, you can see how the water has worked its way through basalts from the nearby volcanoes.
