China View down to Luoping County
Luoping County is located about 220km northeast of Kunming in the provence of Yunnan (China).
During spring (February or March, depending on the weather conditions) the region converts into a beautiful golden ocean out of Canola fields (rape) in between vegetated Karst rocks.
In 2012 this was a hidden gem, but for now this region could be much more popular during that season for good reasons.

Im Frühjahr ( Februar/März je nach Witterung) verwandelt sich die Gegend in ein Meer aus Gold. Rapsfelder so weit das Auge reicht, nur unterbrochen von den bewachsenen Karstfelsen, lassen das Herz eines Fotografen höher schlagen. Für diesen Blick muss man allerdings einen der Karstfelsen erklimmen.
2012, als ich dort war, war es noch ein Geheimtipp. Inzwischen soll es schon bedeutend bekannter sein.
