China Hongcun
Hongcun is considered an "inhabited painting", but it is also an inhabited museum. The village from the Ming period (1368-1644) is world cultural heritage. In front of the village is a large water lily pond, which is cut by a narrow walkway interrupted by a picturesque arch bridge.
