Croatia Coastline south of Rijeka

Beautiful place to enjoy the sunset on the cliffs at Rijeka. The water is crystal clear and invites you for a swim. Rijeka is not visible behind the cliffs from here, but the somewhat further north Matulji.

In our case the Beach Bar "PHANAS" had really loud music from really bad speakers. At this place it's only quiet to hear, as if from far away, but when walking by it was really unpleasant.

At sunset the cliffs and the sea are beautifully coloured. But with a zoom lens it is also worth taking a look in the other direction to Most na otok Krk (bridge to Krk).

Parking is available directly on the street for a small fee (only cash, for Croatian citizens there is an app). If you are lucky, you can also park for free at the restaurant "Copacabana".

From here you walk to the beach bar "PHANAS". Here steps go down to the sea to a small platform. Now simply walk along the water on the stones a little to the north.
