Traveling
If you are traveling through Croatia by car make sure to have your verification card with you for your car insurance (usually a green card). Besides that, the main freeways are payed ones, so you definitely shouldn't forget about the toll costs when traveling the country.
Also keep in mind that visiting famous places like Plitvice Lakes or the old town of Dubrovnik is not a good idea during the main touristic times. There are often so many people that you probably won't enjoy this time, especially not if you are there for photography.
