Croatia Bridge over Krka near Skradin

This place near Skradin right at the freeway is a great spot for sunset photography. Especially panorama fans will love this view since it offers interesting parts for your image in multiple directions. There is even a pretty nice restaurant nearby where you can enjoy your time until the sun is setting.

If you are just starting with your photography I would definitely recommend you to choose a good angle without trying to get a panoramic shot, because stitching it during sunset (when you already need multiple shots for the blending) isn't that easy. If you are still going for the pano photo pay attention to the bridge when stitching the photo, because this is usually the part where the software makes mistakes that are easily visible to the viewers.

And I would recommend a very high tripod because as you can see in my "Behind the Scenes"-photo, it's otherwise not that easy to capture the stones in the foreground. I wouldn't recommend jumping over this wall, because it's a) pretty deep and b) makes the angle for a pano even worse.

The spot is extremely easy to find and there is a parking place right beside it. The only thing you need to make sure of is, that you are coming from the right direction because you can't leave the street at this place when you are coming from the north. If you have to turn you should do it right after you leave the freeway without leaving it to save the additional toll by leaving the street and entering it again.
