Croatia Marjan Forest Park from Split Harbor
A footbridge in the northwestern part of the port of Split. A little off the beaten track of the harbour bars. Some boat trips to the islands go from here the whole day into the late evening, otherwise quite quiet. A few residents are still here in the evening to enjoy the sunset. Photos have to be taken between the berths, but with us there was a possibility to take a picture in every direction, but the sunset was the most beautiful.
Photography Tips
The best time for pictures will be the late sunset/blue hour or at night. Then the water can be softened without filters with longer exposure times and the beautiful lights of the city come out.
Travel Information
We were in the city for a long time and parked somewhere else. I think parking in the area will be difficult. It's best to just walk there. The city itself has so many possibilities for beautiful photos, especially the historical buildings, that you will surely find a lot to photograph on the way there.
