Croatia Dubrovnik Wall View

The walls of Dubrovnik surround the old town and give excellent views of both the city and the sea.
To enter the walls, you need to buy a ticket costing 35 EUR or buy a Dubrovnik pass giving access to several locations in Dubrovnik, including the wall (but only once).

At least in peak season, the wall has a one-way system. So if you wanna reach this point without too much walking, check the best entry point.

Be aware that the wall has opening hours, so during summer the walls close at 19:00 well before sunset. At this time, a local guy will walk along the wall and tell tourists to head towards the next exit. I managed to stay until almost 20:00 and got some of the best light from the sunset, but sadly not the blue hour where the city will be lit up.

In the off-season, you might have better luck timing the sunset with closing hours.
Even in high season, there's plenty of space to use a tripod since most tourists will walk the wall during the day.

Like the rest of old town Dubrovnik, it's not ideal to bring a car since parking is very limited. The best way to get here is by bus or walk. A Dubrovnik Center Parking is marked on the map which is around 7 minutes away by foot.
